Some stuff on the Hornby Magazine site

http://www.hornbymagazine.com/view_article.asp?ID=7722&pubID=38&t=0&s=0&sO=both&p=1&i=10#continued

but the interesting bits would be

LNER J72 - including in NER livery

The words "Valenced version under development" on the A4 page

DCC fitted manors, 9F etc

M7, Ivatt 2-6-2 and 45xx to be re-released with tungsten chassis

Disc headcode 22

More catenary (gantry, double armed masts)

Bracket semaphore, DCC unit for them, 2 3 and 4 light colour signals

If they can make a reliable operating bracket semaphore in N I'm going to be most impressed !

I welcome the announcement of the J72 in particular  :) as they were quite widely spread geographically in LNER/BR days, a few were based in North Wales, Wirral and Cowlairs as well as their native NER.
If they bring out 69023 "Joem" it'll be useful for those modelling heritage lines as it worked in that condition on the Worth Valley and briefly on the Derwent Valley railway outside York in the 70s.

I'm encouraged they're re-releasing the M7, Ivatt tank and 45XX all with the new style chassis  :claphappy: as they've not been too easy to get hold of lately and would be in great demand.
Hopefully  :) they'll work through the rest of their steam loco range including the Q1, B17, Manor and 9F fitting the latest spec tungsten chassis. Only then will I consider buying a 9F.

Will wait on developments regarding the Pacer and any other new rolling stock.

There has been a handmade bracket signal on test for a while seen in the clip below.

Looking forward to some if the items. Hopefully the Colas 56 will be here for our next show at the Ricoh in Coventry in September. The M7 and the 45xx will be good too!

look forward to the J72, cant have a heritage line without joem and the saloon behind it!

then if they do the reduced prices on the older stuff, i may be tempted into a couple more things by Dapol as the new stuff wont be out for what 200 years by dapols time frame?
