Some DMU kit parts (underframes + engines) in need of ID

I recently bought a whole load of etched/white metal DMU kit parts (mostly BHE and Fleetline I think) cheap on eBay and have nearly finished the task of sorting the bits according to class and vehicle type - there are enough parts in the lot (minus motor bogies and roofs) for several complete sets, all 1st generation types, some of which I'm intending to build and others I'll likely resell some time in the future.

I've managed to identify the body sides and ends with the help of my reference books, but the underframe detail castings (engines, fuel tanks, battery boxes etc) have defeated me so far! I've attached a photo with one of each casting - there are between 2 and 6 of each type in the lot. The lot includes body sides + ends from classes 105, 116, 117 and 122 (bubble car). Unfortunately I suspect none of the underframe castings I have are for the latter three classes, which are the ones I want for my (WR-based) layout! But any help identifying the parts I have would be helpful.

The BHE underframes for DMU stock came in two versions "long" and "short" regardless of class. Some of the sides are also a bit suspect.

Thanks for the info - at least this should make the job a bit easier! I assume 4 of the designs (probably B, C, D and E) are the BHE generic long and short underframes for the left and right hand sides, and the others are from non-BHE kits. There were quite a few long DMU sides in the lot though most didn't match and there appear to be no ends to go with them.
Looks like I have some scratchbuilding to do for the 116/117/122 underframes!

Hi

I'm pretty sure that the Fleetline range was sold to BH Enterprises as the kits are more or less identical (I've built a few of the Fleetline kits in the past and have also bought spare castings from BHE). I also believe they originated with MTK.

Cheers
