Hi all,

I saw a review recently of some magnetic right angle clamps that can be used for holding two pieces at a 90 degrees whilst glueing and for the life of me I cant find the article anywhere. Could anyone point me in the right direction to where I can order them

Regards

Marc

I bought them from Turkey too - they are good but the magnets are a bit 'fierce' :ouch:
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

Yes, and I put some contact paper felt flocking on mine. It doesn't do much but I don't worry about the clamps slapping together. And mine are blue. Got them many moons ago from the Woodworker's Shop in San Diego when they first opened.
I exclusively model the WSMF Railroad.

Hi Marc,

I've only ever seen them here, and cheap they are not :)

If you check York Model shop and you get the small ones they work out at £12 plus p&p.

Hatton's "Turkish ones" are £24 + p&p

I did. And brilliant they are too. Worth every penny.

ozzie Bill.

thank you for the link to Yrk. Some of their gear looks expensive, but seems as though it's decent quality. Bill.

£24???  :confused2:  That's a significant chunk of a new loco!

Magnets: ~£4 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Neodymium-Rectangular-Magnets-5x5x2mm-Rare-Earth-Strong-High-Grade-N42-3-49-/230980733357?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35c78649ad)

Some scrap triangles of plasticard, card or metal: free

Not getting totally ripped off for 2 minutes of work: satisfying

No. £12. For 2 of them.

And they are indespensible for making models. Its the magnets that help. My scrap plastic doesn't have magnets in it - and I couldn't cut it square either.
