Hi all, I have just found these items on Hattons web-site and think they look awesome...
I work as a maintenance fitter in the potteries and this item appeals too me as we deal with the company ECC International.

Has anyone bought this item and can they recommend them ?

Yes, I have several of them and they are excellent.  If you can find the weathered version then they are even better.  Probably one of the nicest RTR weathering I have seen in N.

Cheers, Mike

100% yes!

I have a rake of 10. All good and I have x2 with ECC branding. Totally recommend these wagons

I've got photos in  Cornish rail books of mixed rakes of Slurry Bullet tanks with various Speedlink box vans. The vans would carry bagged ball clay.

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Thanks for the answers, nice video Jon. Are your loco couplers electronic or magnetic ?
I will be quite happy too have the pristine versions to be honest, my head is bursting with the rolling stock I want.

For instance I already have Railtrack Auto Ballasters, one generator and one none, a question I have wanted to ask is how many none generator ballasters  can I run from a generator ?

Hey dude, good discussion on JJA rakes on this thread:

For the record, I run my rake in a ration of 4 non to 1 generator

They really are brilliant models  :D

Thanks Dude,

They are magnetic - small rare earth magnets sliding up under the track in tubes.  A simple system that works quite well!

A Rush fan........?

Sure - I did an article in "Red Death" some time ago. Here are the key pictures (mostly about modifying Farish couplings, though the system works fine with Peco "Elsies" and the steel lift arms.  I might do a little video too!
