At last night's local club meeting we had a demonstration of airbrush weathering and I got to have a go at two of my wagons. I'll try to post pictures later but I'm now very tempted to rush out and by an airbrush setup. Last night I used Badger airbrushes.

What do other people use? Are there any deals out there?

Personally, I have an Aztec and like it.

Before anyone starts screaming - it's a proper one, not a Testors screw-up ;)

But there are a number of decent ones out there, such as Iwata.  Badger is OK to play with, IMHO, but not for proper usage (unless things have improved since I last looked in despair at them).

As I now have a decent compressor I picked up @ Warley (it's quiet, has a tank, water trap, etc - and under £100 ), I'm aiming to get better with mine :)

Quite a few of us have bought this kit - including me.  The basis for the recommendation being that it is almost as expensive to buy the compressor on it's own.

I started this thread to show my progress. Have not done much railway stuff recently but hope to pick it up again after Christmas

Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy

I knew there had to be a thread somewhere.
