SO.....I see we are creeping ever-onwards towards a NGF membership of 3000 !! I really think that will be quite a milestone  for all us n gaugers . Seems like a good point to say a HUGE 'thank you' to all the Forum staff who do such a brilliant job of keeping it all on the rails - pun definitely intended . Some weeks I hardly seem to be on the Forum at all (because of all sorts of things) but other times I am on a lot , regularly doing a 30 minute trawl on all sorts of topics.....one thing here so often leads to many others !! The only problem with that is keeping up with the number of topics/postings that I've bookmarked ! Thanks again to everyone , but to the Forum staff in particular !!!!!! Cheers to one & all , Ric

Good of you to post this, as one of the current 'staff' I'll add my thanks to Mods past and present, and of course Tank for steering the good ship (or train?) NGF to where it is now. I honestly have never come across a forum railway or otherwise with such a good vibe  :thankyousign:

Inevitably some of those members will be 'ex' members for one reason or another, but also there are a great many who have registered but never posted. That is their choice and it is fine, but I'd like to say to them please take the plunge and join in - we don't bite, we don't care how little knowledge or expertise you have, we just want to talk N gauge

Yes I agree, thanks to all the mods and especially Tank who started this. Without you all, newbies like me would be in a dark tunnel without a lamp.

People say I'm small minded and live in my own little world; maybe their right!

A big thanks from me to all who run and help to run the forum.
Long may it continue.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

I fully agree with that statement and ask for my thanks to be noted also.

To all that run this top forum and those that contribute so positively - your all making this the top place to be.

Tried the rest and settled here - never felt so welcome.

Respect to all

Repairs - not everything has to be sent away - you can fix most thing's yourself. Ask and help will be provided.

Waiting for the RTR version? - why not try a kit?

Can I add my personal thanks as a "newby"!

Big member count for a reason, people will always flock to the nice place, why wouldn't they?

I can't say much for other forums, never been a member of any other one, and I have no reason to search further  :D
But this is an excellent resource, full of knowledgeable chaps and chap-esses and often very funny.

Thanks to all those who run it and long may it continue.

Thank you all for the wonderful words.   :claphappy:

Reading such posts truly makes coming on here a pleasure!  :)  We all play our part in keeping the forum a pleasant and informative place, so well done to everyone one here.

Thanks from me, but probably not many from Mrs "H" as since I joined this forum I have monopolised the home computer.
However it keeps me from doing other things like household repairs cutting the grass and other non essential things.... :NGaugersRule:

Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

I must echo the others in saying THANK YOU to Tank, the Moderators as well  as the technical people who make this Forum a must for anyone into N Gauge.

Its a constant source of advice, tips,  inspiration and laughs and empty pockets.

The only problem is I would be £££££££ richer if I hadn't got into N gauge.

Keep up the good work all of you!

Having suffered once or twice from unpleasant and cliquey forums in other scales- no names no pack drill - I wholeheartedly echo this praise. NGF really is special.

Hear, Hear to all of the above.   And a big thankyou to all 'staff' and members.
It wasn't that long ago when I went into a MR shop and asked if they had any N Gauge stuff?  Reply:  No, it won't catch on.  Or words of a similar nature  :whiteflag: :jawdropping:  :nerner:
