..........What, exactly, is "TINGS"?

Keep reading that you're all going (without me!) and I feel left out of the clique. Could someone please enlighten me?

I hate to miss things I dont know about; I need to know so that I can miss it with full knowledge 

It's an annual event for N gaugers, The International N Gauge Show, held in September atavenue neaqr Leamington, as its name suggests it is all N gauge, layouts and traders.

Ah - sounds like you don't know where to park then !  Let alone how to ensure you see the layouts that interest you ... 

Warley & TINGS tend to be the only big shows I attend these days.

The last time I went to the NEC I took the train - off the train and straight into the exhibition center

Not sure exactly which station, but I've heard there is one only a few minutes by train from NEC and it has a free car park close by.

Hmm... colour me interested, that's quite local.  And I've already traded any possibility of going to Warley this year for financial approval of my 4CEP with sound.

The track is still there, but the car that runs on it is now just a monorail, the MAGLEV is no more.

I seem to remember the Maglev car ending up being sold on e-bay.
