i see farish are releasing some nuclear flask wagons this year, am very keen on this  however i see there bringing out 3 different types. my question is, in real life do they mix and match these wagons? or are the from different era etc.

To my knowledge, they do not mix the flasks on the public network.

Yes, they were released some time ago.

The flasks are all variants of the FNA and run together regularly. Where you might have issues is that not all the livery variants are from the same period.
