flashing tail lamp

I fitted this train-tech flashing tail lamp to a mk1 full brake...

it was easy.  some cutting / filing / drilling and I had to buy a smaller battery that the one it came with...

a motion sensor makes the light come on and it turns off after a few mins being stationary

The motion sensor is a neat idea - no need for switches! I would imagine this is based on the technology used for the flashing tyre valve caps that were the rage a couple of years ago.

This  is the sort of thing they're based on, so might be possible to adapt to a flashing tail lamp:-

I am currently working on something along these lines at the moment. Can't say anything more at the moment. Biggest issue as always with N is getting something small enough to fit that is also reasonably priced.
