Are there any wheel cleaners on the market which can be used clean wagon and /or coach wheels.

Hi Howard. Re coach and wagon wheel cleaners, there is Roto Wheel Cleaner by Woodland Scenics. Powered from controller or track it will clean engine wheels. With power off you just push the coach or wagon back and forth a few times. Hope this helps. Mickey26

Tomix do a vibrating wheel cleaning track. Its meant to be part of a layout but while it works in that mode with Tomix Japanese stock it doesn't work well with some UK stuff (Peco wagons in particular tend to exit vertically). It can however be used as a very good vibrating standalone wagon/coach wheel cleaner.

I use a vibrating jewellry cleaning device  (Lidl less than £10)  water and detergent into the tray, put in wheels, plug in switch on for about 10 minutes, remove wheels and dry first with kitchen roll then on radiator or warm oven (as it's cooling down after cooking) very small drop of oil when replacing.

Can be a pain removing and replacing if you have loads to do. I've also used it with some success on gunged up motors, spray first with WD 40  leave for a few hours then into the vivbro cleaner to get the WD40 and gunge out, dry out well in low heat.

Lay a sheet of kitchen roll doused with IPA on a piece of track and then run your rolling stock along it. Cheap as chips (as an orange, walnutty type person says)
