I'd like some very fine rubber tubing to make a realistic water bag for my two steam age  water towers and two water columns.
Any ideas as to what I can use.
I remember from my much younger days that cycle tyre repair kits used to contain valve rubbers that, if memory serves me correctly, were about the correct diameter. However, I'm not sure if modern tyre repair kits contain valve rubbers.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

What about using heat shrink?  The sort of stuff that maplins sell for sheilding wires.
It comes in one single length of about 15 inches and you cut it to what ever length you want for your water tower bags.
Whenever I write a letter to someone, I add a footnote briefly explaining Ohm's law. It's my P.S. de resistance.

You could also heat shrink the ends onto the pipe too.

Puncture repair kits should still have the piece of tubing for repairing Woods valves, but the heatshrink may be a better bet

ozzie Bill.

What about plastic insulation off the finer electrical wires? It can be very effective as heavy hose and similar. Cheers, Bill.

Ditto Bill, I used telephone cable (pick whatever colour you like), pulled out the wire, flattened then painted. Cheers john.
