Congratulations to Alan Cox on his award of an honorary fellowship - http://www.smu.ac.uk/index.php/the-university/news/1792-computing-legend-receives-university-honour . I was aware of Alan Cox the Linux developer, I just hadn't twigged that he was our EtchedPixels! An honorary fellowship from your 'home' university really is quite a big deal; well done Alan.

Firstly, well done EP.

Secondly, computers and their inner workings are a bit like building a layout. Absolutely great when all goes well and a very big frustration when it's not working ! So, how do you cope with both railways and computers ?

I wonder if Al will now have to change his profile signature, to say "No I don't know whats wrong with your computer, email Bill Gates and ask him....."
