Hi,

Does anyone know whether there is a kit available for the Southern 4 wheel 'Van C'?

Etched Pixels do a really nice kit for the bogie 'Van B' while Farish have a bogie 'Van B' and a 4 wheel 'PLV' in the pipeline. I'm hoping someone out there knows where I can find a 4 wheel 'Van C'.

Not offhand - there is a white metal SR utility vans done by P&D Marsh
(A551) and Dapol did an SR CCT four wheeler, and Chivers do some other SR CCT variants but I think thats about it.

Thanks Alan, I'll have a look at those and see if they can be altered to get close to a Van C. Could be my first attempt at kit bashing in N!

As far as i am aware Dapol will be introducing one which will be released along with their Maunsell coaches

That's really good news. Embarrassingly I didn't even know that Dapol were going to release Maunsell coaches... had a quick look at the Dapol catalogue and there they are on page 34 and that definitely looks like a Van C. Maybe it's time I went through the catalogue in case there is something else I've missed!
