Not enough for the angry thread but,  I wish this hot weather would cool down a bit or at least a decent breeze.
Also the car is using more petrol - down to about 50mpg  (small car under 700cc and Black) - all because I am having to switch the Aircon on for the first 15 minutes of any journey just to make it bearable.

Wanna swap, i'll drive the car in airco, you can work here without airco :P (getting warmer inside the outside.)

Newportnobby

Sorry, but I'm in the 'too hot' camp as well.
I love the sun and I love warmth but around 20 degrees is comfortable for me :)
On a sub thought, when will the hosepipe ban be announced? ::)

Sprintex

I'm with you on this one Oldman

Way too hot, spent all weekend indoors with the curtains closed and the air conditioner on. :( What annoys me too is that all the idiot DJs that were saying last week how wonderful the weather was going to be are already complaining that it's too hot to sleep at night! :dunce:

Looking forward to getting back to 18C and cloudy ;)

Yep to hot I am in work and its making me feel ill with a headache and lethargic, on a good note I finished the tunnel last night that plaster of paris does dry quick in this weather.

Only Me - The thing is I normally get around 60mpg without the air con on.  If you saw our local pond you would want fully enclosed wetsuit to sit in it.

Still much better than the old car 20-25mpg without aircon and off boost   Full chat with 1.8bar boost down to about 12mpg.

Paul and Mick, I agree totally it does not help when it is too hot to sleep even with a fan running in the bedroom  and windows open. Only disadvantage to that is the little flying critters that come in and think I am a tasty meal as well.

Probably not long to go now  :hmmm:

What's worrying me is how long until they start to restrict mainline steam tours
due to the dry ground and the risk of fires  :worried:

I can't stand anything above 18 degrees C.  I've had the fan on in my office since April (obviously turning it off when I'm not here. ::) ;) ).

Bad Raven

Me no likee too much heat eeetheree!   A nice dry 18 degrees is fine.

I have a 140bhp 2.0 TDi Octavia, the aircon, as in climate control, has never been off!

Loaded up with heavy tools and driven hard WITHIN the speed limits it does no worse than 42mpg, usually near 44mpg, loaded to the roof with RC gear inc extra car sized batteries it does 44mpg, any sort of motorway distance is nearer 50mpg, have tried hard once or twice and got nearer 60 mpg, but that's boring!!

Don't worry about the sunny weather. In a short time it will be

Rain or cold. Ships can't go in the garden and spend some time with the missus but GREAT I can go into my train room

you see my glass is always half full and not like yours half empty

Thats because we are never satisfied. (Weather wise)
Anything above 20C and I burn and leak like a sieve.
But only in the UK. Elsewhere its different.
Was in Majorca once, 26C, no leaking and no burning.  8)

Be careful what you wish for!

We only get 2 weeks of decent 25*C+ sunshine in the UK a year, enjoy while it lasts!

You will all soon be moaning when it Snows in March again, and the rest of the year is freezing cold and wet!
