pleased to be able to report that my A4 from Dapol  which arrived earlier this week is in good condition  and a fine runner . I just wondered if somebody would kindly point me in the right direction for a diagram in order to fit the accessories which came with the model.

From memeory, it comes with couplings which clip onto the coupling hook, vacuum pipes which fit into the holes provided on the buffer beams and cab doors which fit into the locating recesses on the cab. These need glue. There are also spare traction tyres and a tool for taking the con rods off if the tyres ever need replacing.

Just a word of warning about the cab doors-

They can foul the loco to the tender when run on smaller radius curvers. This has been reported in some instances.
In all honesty, if you are running your loco i personally would not bother with the doors.
Some folk only fit the cab doors IF the loco is to be displayed statically only.

Some people may disagree with this though but at the end of the day thats up to you.

I have 2 Dapol A4s with the cab doors fitted. I have some tight curves in my tunnels and have had no problems personally.
