After my surgery I've been taken down to lyme Regis.
Whilst sat in hospital reading a model rail mag I saw the advert, googled it, and realised how close it was.
So I wheeled around there with my 5 year old and the missis pushed the twins round, well I found it fab has anybody else been there ? The beer heights light rail is terrific too.

Just thought I'd share a good trip and see if any others had been, very good value too £4 for access all areas and a train ride, gardens were free.

Brilliant day out. Jon (sorry for poor write up, painkillers have me hazy)

I last went in......1995, or close to it.  I loved it and would certainly go back again if I was nearby.

Hope you're on the mend?

I visited there in the autumn with my lot, had a most excellent day althought it was raining most of it, not that rain made a difference. Got some great piccies of th elight railway and enjoyed the exhibition, some great layouts + some not. Recommended for a day out though!

best wishes

I went there four years ago and my then four-year-old loved it, especially the Beer Heights Light Railway.

I get there roughly a dozen or more times a year, great fun being a Devon based coach driver it is a popular day out with groups from all over, plus I get free admission, unlimited rides on the train, a £10 voucher for the cafe and discount in the peco shop :D, I knew there was a reason I put up with all the other hassles of the job :confused1:
Male children never grow up, we just get older and our toys become more expensive!

I've only got good things to say about Pecorama, the Beer heights light railway is one of the best of it's kind.

The shop is a gold mine of useful bits, mostly peco of course !
If it's got rails... you have my full, undivided attention - Steam, diesel and electric, 'tis all good !

I went again in late March, just before Easter - freezing weather (especially when you are in a caravan!  :o ) but had a great time at Pecorama! Haven't been there for a few years, but I do like looking at the layouts (especially the Spanish themed one with the lights going from sunrise to sunset and then overnight) and this was also my first chance to get on the Beer Heights railway, which is very enjoyable too! (And I managed to get some 10 foot tanker kits - and have some Robbies Rolling Stock transfers to put on them now too!  :) )

Enjoy your visit to Cornwall NTrain - nice weather is expected down here for the next few days !
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Going down to Dorset mid June for a couple of weeks caravanning, when we go there we always go to Lyme Regis so Pecorama is on for a visit this year.
