How cute, but I've voted for it anyway.   ;)

Cute, BUT you voted anyway?! ???  Is it a bad thing then?!

Consider it voted for - now where are those placards? >:D :D

Doh!  They're sitting on the table by the front door!

Tank

liked you're shed so voted for it, any photos of the inside?

Ray

Thanks Ray.  There is one photo on the voting page showing the inside (as you have to have one of the inside to be in the competition.  However, I don't want to show too much of the interior because of the value of the tools in it.  ;)

Vote cast!

Front of house is now slightly concerned that...

1. I have too much time on my hands and;

2. Our shed may get a repaint and some exterior accessories in the near future.  :laugh3:

Go for it!  :D  Would love to see it.  Mine just started off as a tin of paint from B&Q and developed..... :worried:

I don't have a shed.  If I had a shed, I wouldn't have a back garden, and the view out of the patio doors would be...  Shed.
I am not a complete lunatic - there are pieces missing!

No shed these days but at the old house it wasn't me who painted the planks of the shed in alternating light and dark varnish.. it was my wife !

Voted....could we not start our own Shedi (as in Jedi) thread, we all either go "cool top class shed" or use peer pressure and embarrassment to get our sheds cleaned up, basically coming out of the shed as opposed to the closet.

Or sheds anonymous...mind you that wouldn't work as we post our user names... :hmmm:

I have 2 sheds and a cabin and quite honestly I'm appalled with myself, must get it sorted this year.

People say I'm small minded and live in my own little world; maybe their right!

As someone without a shed or a cabin, can I ask, what makes a shed a shed, and a cabin a cabin?  :dunce:

IanUK

Hi Leo,

A shed is made out of tongue and groove, or wood which is layered in a ship lap effect around 12mm thick. A Cabin is made out of interlocking logs, or thick pieces of wood, mine are 40mm thick.

If I haven't made my self clear someone will be along to correct me.

Think of it this way, a shed is a shed and a Cabin is......a posh shed  :D

Ian.

Two things come to mind ...

First, Tank is going to be a lot poorer soon (what is it ?  £10 per vote ?  Cheers  >:D).

Second ... and very related to the first ... did anyone realise you can vote for the shed every day ...

Tank

Thank you once again.  :)

Feel free to start a topic.     I'd love to see everyone's shed.

:)  No money I'm afraid!  I hadn't realised that you could do that.  Of course I don't think it's right, as it's cheating. ;) ;)

Added my vote - it's nice to see a good selection of sash cramps. You can't have too many clamps. My shed is a bit functional and is full of wood drying out, ready for turning in twelve months or so.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Thank you gents!

I agree Malc, a shed should be fully functional!  :)

I've just had a photographer round my house from the Croydon Advertiser. :camera: :o  I'll be in next weeks issue.  The reporter that I spoke to on the phone yesterday said that he wanted me to wear a train hat...  I told him that I'm not going down the 'anorak' route.  It's a bit of fun, not a chance to make fun of someone else's hobby.  Not everyone conforms to the socially acceptable route in life of drinking, clubbing, smoking and football. ::)

Ah, you'd have looked so cute.   :P

As you say, they try to portray everyone with any interest in railways as anoraks.  :(
