I have a Beko oven that doesn't heat up from time to time. Maybe they mixed up the parts from the fridge freezer?

Not good, this. I've a Beko dishwasher, and will be keeping an eye on it....

Just don't put your frozen fish fingers in it, they may burst into flames  :smiley-laughing:

More seriously, they were discussing this on the radio today and it will be next week at least before some are repaired! what are folks supposed to do, leave it on and risk it going on fire or switch it off and lose all their frozen goods.

Beko need to up their customer service game somewhat

I'll bear that in mind, luckily SWMBO does the cooking!

It is a bit much to take a week to sort this out. From what I heard briefly on "Today" this morning there has been at least one death. Not a very good position for Beko.

We had a Beko cooker a few years ago.
A plastic spacer on the door hinge broke up and the door dropped 3-4mm. The service people couldn't sort  it out  as the plastic washers were not available as a separate item......it meant a new lower hinge (I even offered to turn a new stronger plastic washer up on the lathe while the fitter waited for 5minutes...that was not acceptable)
After 6 weeks of wrangling the decision was made by the service people..............scrap the whole 20 month old cooker.
We will never buy any of their Cr** again

Saw this report the other day, and yes we have just bought a Beko fridge a couple of months ago. So we are checking the list of suspect appliances very carefully, as well as the company web site. It seems ours it not one that has a problem, but will keep a careful eye on it.

On the news tonight it also mentioned that Beko also made some of these problem fridges for Lec.
