What a fun filled month so far.
Got through the 1st OKish but with a 'orrible rasping cough.  :'( :'(
By 1AM on the 2nd  was waiting (gasping for air) for an ambulace  to arrive  :'(
1-45AM am told to get to the 'ospital via SWMBO car and an out of hours doctor will see me.
2AM feeling worse from the journey and awaiting doctor  :worried:
3+AM sent home with a few tablets and told to see how its going Monday cause the `ospitals full and A&E have a 5hr backlog  :(

I`m still alive on Sunday tho and improving. Seems that a chest infection has hit me hard because of my emphysema. Time for quiet week I think

Total sympathy. It seems I joked too much and the dreaded (ManFlu) hit me on Thursday. We have a virus that seems to be infecting the village (the owner of the bar has been off sick for the first time in 20+ years).
However despite being a backwater we can get Ambulances and have a village surgery (No appointments) 3 times a week plus a mobile number for the Doctor!

Keep warm mate relax and get some DVD advice from the Oldman.
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Hope you two guys are feeling a little better, sounds like you both got a good dose.

Get well soon.  All of you!  At least it's not contagious online.

ReBeginner

Sincerely hope you are both feeling better - on a lighter (arguably) note, my pal (best mate) took ill on holiday in Cyprus, hospitalised him for 10 days, naturally I texted him and took the michael about his private room having only Greek tv - asked him if he didn't make it could I have his fishing tackle, his missus said I'd have to bid on e-bay like everyone else - all this after 33 years of friendship, I was, as they say, gutted!
Less is more .............. So I'm told!
