Whilst I'm waiting for some bits to arrive and be sourced before I can carry on with   my N gauge stuff,  I have dug out a few unmade etched brass kits and started making them.  Only trouble they are in another scale.
Found an old Heico Sand tower kit and doing that first.

Z gauge kits don't half wake you up to precision modeling.
Decided to do this and some old Z gauge cars and lorries (all in brass) before I tackle any more N gauge brass models.

Photo's when finished,as very difficult to get a decent picture before built.
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

Mad indeed haha .
Must have some precission tools for those kits. I remember the Faller plastic kits for z gauge, not as detailed as brass but damned good non the less once 'cleaned up' flash wise.
OK who took my cake?

Book your appointment at the opticians NOW !

But I wan't to see the pictures nevertheless
Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

Jerry - not bothering with the opticians.
Think I need to visit the other kind of optic.  :D

Sand tower now built but not painted yet.
Will post pic when painted.

Decided may be easier to stick to N Gauge and have just started building EP's Brass 48DS kit. Also just realised I have no wheels the correct diameter so will have to order those before I can finish it.
