As for beers i used to drink in the Von Alton pub (spelling?) on Chatham High Street, just down from the old signal box, is it still there? The last time i was there was in 2004.

I know the signal box is still there as i ordered some new coatches from them the other day, pictures to follow when they arrive

As far as I know the pub is still there, I'll have to pop down there and have a look...............and I might just call into the Signal Box while I'm there.

After that crash they knocked the building down and replaced it with one of those modern plastic things. 

Even though the temp has gone down here it feels hotter because the humidity has gone sky high.  <--red cheeks from the heat.

Gutted. Just looked, the pub is now closed down. Another casualty of Blair and Browns Britain (before any Labour fans start it closed under their tyranical reign )

Here in Liberia it is hot, around 30c and raining. In fact it rains almost all the time from May to November, then it is dry and even hotter!
