I guess we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that a lot of people were injured by broken glass, and quite a lot of damage was done, but those videos on the Russia Today (RT) website sure are bloody spectacular! The one where the entire traffic intersection lights up is amazing. That thing was damn close!

According to various tv programmes I've seen, a meteorite about  the size of
Wembley Stadium hitting the Earth  would create a huge explosion
which would cause world wide effects and a huge climate change
(not warmer) so we shall carry on until it happens. Hopefully such an object
won't land on the real Wembley during the FA Cup Final , give Alan Hansen
something to talk about without his traffic cone graphics.

A few years ago there was a sci- fi film called "The Earth dies screaming "
maybe art imitating nature.

Sleep soundly.... :D

Hears some food for thought

If it had happened 20-35 years ago (a blink of an eye in the universe) it could very well have triggered Russia's nuclear retaliatory response because of poor ccommunication and we could be living in a post world war 3 apocalyptic "mad max" like world
Charlie.
