Yep indeed you can, you should only need the middle two (the lights) then solder onto the blanking plug which usually has convenient holes in it.  You would then need to put a break into the blanking plugs circuit where the pins take power from the outer pins (it'll make more sense when you see the blanking plug) you will need to reverse the wires too in order to get the correct led colour... I think!
