hello, can someone please tell me if the Hornby  P9000W  controller I bought for my abandoned 00 project will be OK to use for my "N" gauge track? It's brand new last year.  I wouldn't like to smoke my dear little 57xx's   Looks to be 16 volt in and 12 volt out.  regards and thanks  Rodders
After I explained to my wife, that when I said I fancied doing some modelling, I  meant with trains, not Victoria's secret fashion show, she quite warmed to the idea!

N is also 12v DC - same standard.

Some OO controllers don't give very good low speed control in N - the Hornby one is newer so may well be just fine for that too.

Dont worry. You wont Nuke your 57xx. I use a Hornby dual HM 4000 unit on my layout, designed for 00 but gives me great control DC for all my N Locomotives big and small.
