Just listened to quite a few tracks by

Never heard of this guy before, but someone shared a link. A fantastic version of "Sweet child o' mine". Hang up your top hat Slash.

The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason

Brought about as I'm reading Nick Mason's book 'Inside Out' which is a great read for any Floyd fan, dealing as it does with the personality clashes within the band, details of their stage sets, touring etc

After 9 years in Italy with only a cassette player in the old Ford  we have gone native and bought a new car.  This has a CD PLAYER !!!!!   So on my trips down the Mountain when NOT accompanied by  Mrs "H" I have dusted off .. The Wall , Dark Side of the Moon, Trick of the Tail and will shortly try and dig out other of rocks greats.  On the road to the Hospital this week with the Good Lady we have had Glory of Gershwin and soul but that is better than Italian talk shows...

Just been listening to DSOTM in the loft. Just means I get very little down and play lots of air guitar. Sorry, no pictures of that either. A while back I bought the box set Discovery and I have no idea why as I have most Floyd albums anyway. Time to put the Wall on now me thinks.

The sound track of a Spitfire Mk IX doing an engine start and run.

It's to go with the 1:1 scale Seafire Mk III Instrument panel I am making for the wall of the cave (yes I know it's the wrong Merlin).

We have an Aunt who will want to see the panel and flick the switches.  The sound track is to add a little surprise...
