I've always used Netgear products to spread my internet. In France I used their plug into the mains system which was always very reliable, and now I have one of their Wi-Fi extenders which works really well and gets me at least 30' from the router with no problem.

Thanks Tim for putting that on here ,One way or another I have told my wife That WILL be played at my funeral .It sums up everything. The whole album is songs by Hugh Prestwood .
RUMER  is such a lovely person gifted with in my opinion a beautiful pure voice so natural nothing forced ,and she just comes on stage in a normal dress not in her knickers like some of these so called singers no prancing around screaming into the mike .She is my idol .
I admit I love her.
But only second to my wife Val .

I hope Martin @port perran , will find this suitably soothing after Theocracy, Bob Tidbury recommended it to me earlier today...

Very pleasant indeed.

I've used a wifi mesh system to get my home office on the network. It has the added advantage of keeping everything the same, network-wise, when the provider's hardware gets changed.

Quote from: ntpntpntp on Today at 01:10:33 PMThere are plenty of choices for ethernet-over-mains systems and WiFi repeaters, also referred to as Powerline or Homeplug. Different speeds, different designs with or without passthrough mains sockets, different number of ethernet ports, with or without WiFi. Try Amazon etc.  Best to buy a matched pair so you know they are compatible.

Very helpful. Especially the matched pair advice. Thanks. BT seem just to do ethernet extenders now, without the mini hub built in. It seemed a great piece of kit.
