N Gauge Discussion / Re: Seeking Rolling Stock Advi...Last post by bluedepot - June 14, 2025, 01:49:48 PMthe problem with collecting the pga wagons is that they sell for a lot now on ebay. you might get lucky though or find a job lot of them. i wouldn't pay more than 10 pounds for them as they are an older wagon, but others on ebay will bid more.
so i would probably just order the yeoman pta wagons if i were you because they will be high quality, but will be expensive. collecting 18 or so pga will be over 250 pounds as well though so both expensive options... alternatively buy a few rtc vehicles and model a test train! or recreate a charter train? cheers tim #72

https://youtu.be/S996xfaM8vM My cousin introduced me to this song. He and I lived in the bay area of California and we would travel to LA to visit one cousin and to Sacramento to vist another. He would bring his tape to play on the trip (yeah tapes) (oh sorry for the ancient again haha). #73

And slowly building up my small collection, i broke my cardinal rule as a stall holder the other night, being opposite a chap with some n guage stock....so I had to investigate Picked up a farish class158...very nice for a pre bachmann model ,after wheel cleaning and lubricant runs beautifully....and only 30 pounds Best bargain was the pair of weathered blue grey department mk1's..unboxed two pounds each.....i doubt I will be as lucky ever again. #75

General Discussion / Re: RIP Brian WilsonLast post by Webbo - June 14, 2025, 09:00:10 AMFor me too, the Beach Boys ticked my box more than the Beatles at the time. They inspired me to build myself a plywood surfboard that I tried out in the chilly waters of the west coast of British Columbia. Not the greatest !
RIP Brian, your music lives on. Webbo #78

N Gauge Discussion / Re: Seeking Rolling Stock Advi...Last post by Lagrange1 - June 14, 2025, 07:37:28 AMThere will be these
https://revolutiontrains.com/product-category/pre-order/ngauge/pta-jta-jua-tippler-and-jsa-coil-carrier-wagons/ but depending on when you're modelling you may need the earlier Yeoman livery as shown on this page https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/yeomantipplerpta If you do need the early ones the only option I know of is to buy these kits from the N Gauge Society (you need to be a member to do so) and use the appropriate transfers they also produce https://www.ngsjoin.com/kit-72-ptajtajua-iron-ore-tippler-ngsk07205-pack-8497-p.asp | Please Support Us!
