And 1 of these

All at a very good price

Just ordered my Dapol Intercity MkIII's - 2 First and 3 Second's. Thanks Rabitaway for the inspiration and thank you to the others for clarifying the coach classes.

I shall post pics when I have them, but that will require Ledgington to actually have some track laid first. Stewart's Lane (my other layout) is a small yard and they'd hardly fit in there.

Cheers

Dan

But then again if you get any trouble you can visit you local model shop easier than having to post back etc.

Whatever the cost if you like it enjoy it I say :D :D

I do like it and for the extra money I have the chance to take it back and get on other or my money back there and then
It runs brilliant and I think it is a good addition to my layout

Just before Christmas i took delivery of my LNER 51'1 non vestibule coach etches from worsley works.  New years day I got time to sit and build the carcus of the brake third.
Went together with ease.  The bogies are dapol fitted with etched pixels bogie mounts and nem pockets.
Underframe details are comimg from etched pixels too. I have test run the carcus behind the j39 and it runs beautiful.  Hopefully today I can build another one.

(note to self must order paint)

Live each day as if it's your last

As one day you may be right.

I've been to Hattons and Rails over the last week and bought nothing due to a lack of any sale items and a very small number of new releases this year. I then went to The Loco Shed and took my blue grey 108 in on the off chance there was something to part-ex it against. The 108 was a great runner and beautifully detailed but is quite boring for my layout as it just goes round and can't shunt or interact with the other wagons/coaches, I was hoping to find inspiration on Jim's shelves and I found THIS!

There was a weathered late crest one which would've fit with the late crest WD and SYP late crest Deltic I have but at £20 less, I took this one; it doesn't entirely fit in era-wise but at least I'll have an excuse to buy some lovely crimson and cream coaches...

Already made a video of it to show my dad - the sound isn't entirely in synch but I'm sure it'll make the whole thing more engaging for him...

The Coal Merchant in Dunestone Yard takes delivery of some coal for his customers. One day he'll have some coal staithes to keep it in...  :)

I went in my local model shop, the locoshed and noticed he still had the seaside excursion set. After reading about the new 4F in the set I could not resist.[smg id=20176]

2 nice Mk1 coaches too, you can never have enough MK1 coaches.
I forgot too add the loco looks like a lovely model but GF need to watch there quality control. I decided to run the loco in on the floor while I watched the darts on tv. The controller wires in my set had two of the same connector, I had to put one wire under the track. It is no big deal for me they will probably never get used again.[smg id=20177]

This one arrived with my delivery of bits and pieces from the N'tastic shop:

Not sure how I'm going to explain it on the layout, but there must be a local quarry that needs it...

An "improvised gunpowder van" sounds kind of alarming   :hmmm:

I think that's how the power clips are meant to be, based on all the pictures I can find online.
