« on: December 28, 2010, 11:26:00 AM »
Well if 1/1 model railways can close over the holidays.........
its time to re-lay some track..........

please note the tidy way of working ::)

well they closed Reading Station for the whole Xmas/New Year holidays so why shouldn`t I close Smerfield on Ludden region ?

hmmmmmp! must wire up the pump again :-\

Looking good.   :)  Is that three tracks all the way round?  The wrecked castle/abbey looks cracking.   :NGAUGE:

2 inner tracks are tail chasers whilst the outer track runs only round 3 sides
Sons went mad (both in their 20s ::) ) when I drove the track through the centre of the castle ruins

;D  It's a lovely idea.  Conwy Castle has a train line running through the old castle walls.  How did they ever get planning permission?!   :D

...... well   ;D with a gold/silver mine at the top of the incline who needs planning permision to do anything?

2 scales running here.....the  Marklin hopper being winched down from the mine is Z gauge . The winching chain is real silver (well I used to be  in the trade and have a scrap box of broken neck chains etc) In fact any chains used on the layout are Sterling silver.
