Signal Boxes
« on: September 06, 2012, 01:14:06 PM »
Hi, Why is it that every ready made signal box, apart from Blue Anchor, has steps on the left hand side when looking from track side.

All I want is one the other way round ! Any ideas?

Thanks

If you find one, let me know, I've been looking for ages for one with steps on the right hand side, they all except as you say Blue Anchor have steps on the left.  I've tried modifying both the Peco and Ratio ones but as everything is handed to result is less than I'm looking for.

Its fiddly, but try downloading the free sample from SMART models and printing it mirror image.

I built a lefthooker using it as a basis and simply built a bigger model..

Some days its just not worth gnawing through the straps.

I actually have one with steps on the right running straight down to the track, it's now surplus to my requirements, PM me if you are interested in it say a 5 you may need to repaint it though.   I believe it's ex farish, plastic design.

Its the one in the middle of the picture at the bottom along the slate wall

In fact thinking about it, I also have the one in the front (in a white colour) that also has the steps you want :) which too is surplus
