Morning all,

As many of you will know, there is a huge problem around the world with something called PHP - which is a programming language that websites use on web servers.  There have been huge vulnerabilities found in it, and websites have been urged to shut down or update to the latest version.

I asked for the help from an SMF wizard yesterday, and they quickly agreed to getting our site upgraded and compatible with the latest PHP version.  So, we're protected!  Hurrah!  :)

We're also going ahead with updating the many Modification Packages that we have added onto the main SMF forum, so you may see some changes.

The Alerts system is on the list to be done, as well as the SMF Trader system (what members can use to leave feedback on for N'porium sales).

Thanks for your patience and especially for your donations.  This has covered the work so far, which is just brilliant.  THANK YOU!!!

Chris/Tank.

Boards - Some boards now showing an error when clicked.
Registration - Better way of stopping bot accounts.

Thanks Chris. Good to hear it is all in hand.

If you need more funds don't hesitate to ask. Many of us will gladly drop an extra bob or two in the tin to keep this excellent forum going!

Cheers,

Chris

The system won't work to add a photo, after attempting to click the add photo button however it doesn't add it then fails as 'time out'

We managed to delete the majority of them in the mail queue!  :)

Please don't forget the Gallery. The listings of my categories is now so spread out I have to go through several pages to find the category I want e.g.

Then, the category opens to a list of single pics on top of each other rather than a page of thumbnails which I used to be able to extend to 60 per page if I wanted e.g.

Now it's easier to add that pic again rather than search, which somewhat defeats the object of saving space

The 3 lines to the left of the Folders (Shrewsbury, Model Show etc), you can drag those up and down, so your most used folders are at the top.

The photos seem to be single file only.  I'll see if something can be done to change the view.  Though it will probably cost, as the developer will need to change it.  I'm surprised it doesn't allow more columns to appear.

Hey ho - every day's a learning day, but I preferred the previous version (whinge, whine, moan)
