TV Thrillers

Having waited some time for the new series of BBCs 'Vigil' and ITVs 'Trigger Point ' I have not been disappointed,  despite the two going head to head on Sunday nights.
I binge watched the ITV (6 episodes) but BBC iPlayer only put one extra episode out so that means a week wait for the next one. Both are edge of the seat stuff and I commend them to the house

I am really enjoying "Vigil", this drama has significantly improved since the first series set on a RN submarine - too many plot holes. I did see the first series of "Trigger Point" but haven't seen it since, partly because I am not a big fan of Vicky McClure and one has to suspend too much disbelief (IMO).

Not really thrillers but we are watching both "Ludwig" and "Professor T", I prefer the former!

I just watched a Swedish thriller series on Netflix called Blood Sacrifice.
One of the protaganists is a railway modeller and we see his layout several times.

We're going to watch Vigil once it's all on the iPlayer. We've been watching The Rapture, which is quite good. Not sure about Trigger Point, although the first series was excellent, the second just didn't quite do it for us.

After Vigil series 1 was in a sub (very good) series 2's use of "The British Air Force" (ugh) is series 3 set with The Royal Army?

Same here, except in my case it'll be when the PVR's recorded all episodes.

I hope it's better than the second series which, IMO, wasn't as good as the first.

I've only seen two episodes in series 3 and rate it better than series 1 & 2. I do find so much TV is full of mumbling, however, and put this down to a lack of decent sound engineers or poor diction by actors/actresses (yes, I refuse to call them the same)

Oh, good. Thanks for that - but I'll still wait until the PVR's got the lot..
