The Sydney marathon is on soon and on the rear of the commemorative medal there are some landmarks from around the course...except maybe one. Oops.

Yes, a classic case of incompetent laziness. Somebody obviously just got a picture off Google and threw it on there without even looking at it. Slack as hell.

The BBC news site had that a couple of days ago.

And, a few days before, an article about the recent Edmonton Marathon being 674.7 metres too long - which could pose problems for entrants to the Boston one, because the additional time taken at Edmonton may mean they fail to qualify for Boston.

A few years back, the Newcastle marathon medal depicted the River Wear instead of the Tyne. 

It may well be the case that university graduate number are increasing, but it doesn't mean folk are getting any smarter!
