The Sydney marathon is on soon and on the rear of the commemorative medal there are some landmarks from around the course...except maybe one. Oops.  :no:

The BBC news site had that a couple of days ago.

And, a few days before, an article about the recent Edmonton Marathon being 674.7 metres too long - which could pose problems for entrants to the Boston one, because the additional time taken at Edmonton may mean they fail to qualify for Boston.

A few years back, the Newcastle marathon medal depicted the River Wear instead of the Tyne.  :doh:

It may well be the case that university graduate number are increasing, but it doesn't mean folk are getting any smarter!  :dunce:
