Gulp--15 pages of it..but i think its waaaay out of my comfort zone.

It is 3mm scale and but you they will reduce it in scale if you ask really nicely. It is on my 'todo' list at some point.

A cut down (*) BachFar 4F chassis/motor/gears fitted with Coronation driving wheels might do the job.
(*) with the section for the leading axle cut off (but leaving adequate support for the motor) such that the front bogie would fit under it.

Assuming that the LMS-built versions had the same basic dimensions, the rear pair axle spacing on the 4F chassis is very close, 8'6" for the 4F vs 8'9" for the LTSR 79.
The Coronation wheels are slightly large, 6'9" vs 6'6" for the LSTR 79, but probably not excessively so.

As to the carrying wheels, a Jubilee/Royal Scot bogie might work and possibly a set of 4F tender wheels for the trailing truck, or possibly an N or Fairburn front pony truck for the latter - the N one would be my preference as that has several holes in the frame so one can choose which one to use for the mount/pivot.

That's the way I'd be looking - until or unless detailed checking of dimensions ruled it out.

And, for once, I wouldn't be butchering a Terrier

That sounds good, but oh dear - turns out I have a lot of those parts in stock...... No, I really DON'T need one even though I grew up on the LTSR!
