OK, I'll start the ball rolling this year...

Nothing N gauge (I've already got more than I need at present) so I asked Santa for books this year, and he certainly delivered:

Three I had dropped large hints about, and one (The Library of Lost Maps) that was totally unexpected. That's my reading matter sorted for several months. Plus a decent quantity of 0% beer (I'm currently not allowed the proper stuff) which will also keep me going for a few weeks. Happy bunny.

Cheers,

Chris

Vouchers for my chosen model emporium and then stuff I  didn't want/can't use. My sister is shocking in that respect. Tell her I'm on a diet and she gets me choc covered cookies. Tell her I can't drink alcohol so she gets me strong ales. One present of a litre bottle of Baileys will be heading to a charity as a raffle prize.
It's not that I'm ungrateful but why don't people listen? I might just as well say "get me what you want as you do that anyway "

For me, from me, a new "office" chair

How many roads must a man walk down ... ... ... ... ... before he knows he's lost!

EtchedPixels

A new TV/monitor which turns out to be trash and is going back tomorrow to be replaced by something from another vendor, and a house.

Well at least we got all the paperwork from the solicitor on christmas eve to check over ready to sign the contracts after everyone sobers up start of new year.

Not for Christmas but for my birthday. Mrs PP bought me a new Warship in maroon livery to go with the two green ones that I already had.

I got a fantastic Zulu mug "Zulus to the South-West. Thousands of 'em!", two funny t-shirts, biscuits.  My wife and I haven't really done presents for many years, as the funds go on the kids, so it's lovely to get a few things.  :)

A CL68 "Splendid", some wagons, plus some track and points for a fiddle yard extension.

There's some MTB point motors somewhere, lost in the depths of the Dutch Post Office!

Treasure arrived at Christmas, most of it on pre-order from me to me, but the posties left a couple of boxes out in the rain and the contents were damaged as you might expect. The other parcels were lost in the system and might be redelivered today.

N gauge: Two Gaugemaster electric blue class 73s. It's been a long time coming but they are here!
OO gauge: Bachmann 2-HAP with DCC sound. Heljan 33057 with DCC sound, EFE Rail 74009 and 74010. Heljan Bulleid class 12 shunters 15212 and 15221.
Roco Z21 DCC system. I've never been so excited about a black box before  :D

Plus a couple of lovely grey jumpers to wear in my former Garden Office now dedicated train room.

Some new ply baseboards will be coming in January.

How wonderful to be retired and have all this play time.

Downside...the fridge freezer motor stopped working Christmas Day!!!! had a lot of food to rescue/eat.

I thought beige was one of those auto-moderated words. Should never be mentioned on a family forum.
