My available choices are Mead, Advocaat, Bacardi & Coke, or Harvey's Bristol cream sherry, the Advocaat is mainly a substitute for custard on the Christmas pud or mince pies.

I only tasted mead once, in Russia of all places. It was OK, except for the bits of beeswax floating around in it.
