A matter of scale

Last time I was in London Mayfair I saw this Rolls Royce and I immediately thought that it was out of scale with the other cars on the street.

FWIW I don't want one. I think it is hideously ugly and vulgar. And it's in OO.

At one time prestige cars such as Rolls Royce had understated elegance. Nowadays they have overstated arrogance. This change also applies to many of their customers.

Many years ago when on a business trip to Manchester, I was passed on the M62 by a blond lass in a BMW convertible with the number plate M1 NGE and she'd pushed it all together. Brazen, or what?
