Japanese modeler make bachmann emily into GNR stirling single.
I heard that some of bachmann's Thomas series is overscale.
Did someone have emily?

The Tomix Thomas range was overscale.

With these fun models I wonder if it really matters, but I guess it does if you intend making a serious model out of it.

As asked by the OP, any forumite got one?

Nicely done conversion. Never got into Bachmann's Thomas range, but they were based on the looks of the TV models instead of the specs for any real prototype.
N is small and ideal for all.

Kind of off-topic, but I looked at the page linked in the OP. It is in Japanese, but Chrome offers a translation. Right at the bottom it says:

"I simply recreated the back plate and placed two figures on it.
The design of the tender's ex-wife is my imagination."

Curious to know what the tender's ex-wife might be...
Some of my 3d print designs can be found on Cults3d, and I blog about them here.

Put the same text through a different translator and I got this which makes more sense

QuoteI recreated a simple backplate and placed two figures on it.
The pattern on the tender's front plate is imagined.

With yet more translators I got "the tender's front wife", or

QuoteI had a simple backplate, and I had two dolls on it.
I can imagine the pattern of the former wife of tender.

I liked this one: "I'm thinking of Tenderman's ex-wife."  ooh-er :)
