Are there any GWR "Pressfix" type transfers available in N/2mm scale?

I'm pretty sure all the N lettering these days is water slide. You might find old Pressfix sheets in rumage bins at exhibitions.

Railtec make a small selection of BR blue era rub-on transfers but no GWR.

Waterslide transfers must have come on a lot since I last use any, twenty five plus years ago.
Looks like Fox waterslide transfers are the only ones and available and suitable for what I need. Not really a fan of waterslide transfers.
I made some 00 gauge wagons back in the late 90s, the Pressfix transfers look as fresh as the day I did them. The waterslides I used have lifted off some of the wagons, others have cracked and most have gone yellow. I did use decal fix and sealed with varnish, also there's the annoying carrier film that you get with them.

Did you gloss varnish first? I use water slide transfers all the time and don't get any visible carrier film when applied over gloss and then sealed with the finish of your choice.

Yes applied with either an air brush or from a aerosol can.

Osbornes do GWR sheets that are rub-on style (something I only realised after soaking my transfer in water just made it wet). I got them a couple of years ago though, so this is under the assumption they're still doing them.

Trouble is with Osborne's is that you place an order, they take your money but you don't see any goods. They don't respond to emails or answer the phone and charity begins at home!
I would like to buy items from them but it seems impossible for me to do so.

You do have to be patient with Osborn's, that is a fact. However if you percevere you will be able to make contact and get your goods.

Do not give up hope.

Many small outlets do not operate in the way that Amazon does.
