[Le Night ferry]

I have junk tornado, which its valve gear is broken.
I'm thinking of making it as a1/1, with smoke deflector and V2's valve gear.
Since farish will release new V2, it will be easy to obtain spare valve gear.
Is it clever to keepngoing this project?
I'm not going to make exactly same one, but similar in distance.

Bachmann have advised that arrival of the the new V2 is now delayed to July/August (current estimate) it could well be that spares (if available) will be a while longer. Take a good look at the centre wheelset of the new V2 (plenty of pictures around) the return crank is held in with a screw which is unlike other recent Farish models, so best to assume it may not be compatible with wheels from other models and you may need a "plan b".
