Why Farish doesn't re-release its steam?

A small class of 10 locos, essentially a Brit with a smaller boiler and 6P power rating, were anyone to make one it would be Dapol, but I suspect not.

And mainly only seen north of Carlisle. OK, EFE did the 5 x class 41's but they've been on all kinds of wish lists for years and years

Newman Miniatures produced a 3D print of a BR 'Clan' boiler that was available on Shapeways before the demise of that platform. It was designed to replace the Dapol Britannia boiler to convert the model to a 'Clan'.

a couple of years after i got back into N gauge--2018/9--several minitrix " Clans" appeared on ebay ( Renamed Britts). I was lucky enough to bag one.

So to sum up the last few Posts in relation to the OP...

The reason Farish haven't re-released the Royal Scot in Crimson, is because the only previous model labelled as a Clan was from a different manufacturer (now not active in the UK market) and it was in reality simply a re-named Britannia (something that wouldn't be accepted in this day and age...)

Sorry if this is now in the wrong place, perhaps needs to start a new thread?
Anyway.

Yes, I have obtained one eventually.

Does anyone know of any detailed process to undertake the conversion or perhaps a video instruction? These things often exist but are hard to find. Someone did comment on a conversion of a Minitrix Britannia but admitted they couldn't recall the process or find their notes.

It would be a first attempt at surgery on a Dapol Britannia.
