POA / SSA scrap wagon

Hi

Can anyone advise where I can buy kits for these please?

Ideally a standard wagon POA / Railease from about 1980...  one in pale blue with yellow ends ..

I'm not familiar with all the variants.

I see there are some 3d printed ones as well now.  If anyone can suggest one that would be great.

I recall there was an Ian Stoate Kit but can't see where to buy them.  NGS shop doesn't have any.

There are a few different types of scrap wagon on Shapeways.

You might find the old Ian Stoate Models kit (one piece resin body for Peco chassis) on eBay.

Chivesr do a kit for the later rebodied version

The other option is scratch building from plasticard an triangle/square plastic rod.

I'll look out for the ian Stoate one on ebay as would prefer original poa in turquoise and yellow ends really.

whilst waiting I might have a go and making one of the black adder ones ...  it's a bit later than I want in terms of era but I can practice my painting and decal skills on it ...

This might be a bit too late to help you, but there is a way of producing an original SSA using the Chivers kit. What I did was to buy a spare kit and chop down the side pieces to create the correct ends. I've detailed the process on RMweb.
