For most things now I get my information online. However, I do buy railway magazines every month. Those I skim through, then look in more detail and re-read numerous times.

Do your local libraries not have an Overdrive or Libby e-magazine service for members?

I don't get RM or MRJ, but I get MR, BRM, Backtrack, Steam World and some classic motorcycle mags on the web from a number of local libraries around me (in Sydney).

Yes, it's widespread here, but not well publicised.
