There will be the upgraded 5MTs available during the first half of next year, plus I would be willing to bet that a new tool steam locomotive is announced at some point during 2023.

The Class 90 has shown they are working on new, previously unannounced, N Gauge models in the background and we're only going to find out what those are once they have samples to show and they are around 3 months from hitting the shelves.

Tom.

I look forward to seeing that in 2026 or 7!

Ah that old chestnut! Seeing as they announced the Class 90 in august and delivered it in December then they seem to be able to get pretty close to their much publicised policy of only announcing new models when they're around 3 months from arrival. 4 months not 4 years, but why let facts get in the way of a good jibe!

When they announce new steam models I don't see any reason they wouldn't achieve the same delivery goals with those either.

Just checked my own transition era stock and the diesels have edged it 76 to 69 steam at present.
