Vac cleaner advice

Looking for advice for a portable vac cleaner interested in what  others use ? I don't really want to spend huge sums. Any help would be much appreciated.

Lidl had cordless vacuums on offer but the batteries didn't last too long, so I bought one of these a couple of years ago.
