Drag & Drop to gallery not working on Mac with Chrome

Hi,

I've just installed a Mac Mini in my train shed and came across an issue when trying to bulk upload pictures.

If I use Chrome then I can't drag and drop from the photos directory to the forum.
If I use Safari then I can drag and drop.

Does anyone know if this is a Mac OS (High Sierra) issue or a Chrome issue?

Anybody else use a Mac?

I didn't realise the gallery supported dragging and dropping pics straight into the forum posts. Very handy (and definitely working with Safari on macOS Big Sur)

If it's working in Safari then it's definitely a Chrome issue. (Safari being the system web browser, it won't be a system issue)

It doesn't, I am talking about using the "Bulk Add Pictures" to the gallery function.

It works fine with Chrome on my Windows laptop, but not on the Mac.

As it works with Safari it's not the end of the world, just wondered if anyone else had seen this issue and knew how to fix it?

Missed the " Bulk upload" reference

however an Imac running Big SUr & Chrome does support Drag'n drop to the Gallery / Upload multiple items function




worth an upgrade?
