I just came across this on you-tube



It's just a few minutes, but describes all the parts of switches and crossings, and is mildly informative. Watch out for the cringeworthy comment at the end.

Some interesting stats.
For some reason they don't seem to have the problems we do with our points/crossings ;D

That was interesting, seems to be one of 15 videos that Network rail have done.
Need to have a look at the rest later.
