Scale cement lorries?
« on: April 24, 2020, 09:42:56 AM »
Hi all,

I'm looking for cement lorries that would suit the late 80's and if possible, in Blue Circle yellow 'livery'.

Did/does any one make those?

I have googled without much success.

Here's an example:

Lychet Manor N310 is the Scammel Routeman version of the the 'tanker' facing away near the cement silo.

of course you need to assemble and pait it yourself, but I think it's only two parts at most, tank and chassis/cab.

if you like, I can check, I've two in my stash that I haven't touched.

Can I suggest you try adapting some Tomytec lorries, although Japanese cab styles some have the look of 70s early 80s lorries

Have a look at my posts under vehicles for the ones I have created so far, titled Tomytec Lorry Bashing

You should get finer models than with white metal
