The tutorial is in the tutorials section of this forum.
I don't know specifically what was done but the chassis mods only seem to comprise removing the body, discarding the DCC socket and associated wiring, Sticking representations of the electrical pick up beams on the leading bogie and sticking a paper image of the underframe over the existing Dapol underfame details. The cutting of the DCC wiring isolated the motor terminals so I had to solder wires from the motor terminals to the brass contacts on the chassis where the bogie pick ups rub. To make the body sit down flush on the chassis, I had to pare down some locating tabs on each corner of the chassis.
