Coronavirus and the 2020 toilet paper crisis

The TP aisle at the grocery store I work at was pretty much empty last night...though even in a crisis like this, people still won't buy the "John Wayne brand" TP (rough, tough and doesn't take s*** off nobody).   I think all the major sporting leagues in the states have postponed things for now, though I think NASCAR will still run at least one more race without fans.

have followed this all the way through, and have not seen a single racist remark, unless the mention of a country / race is now construed as racist.

most posts are either informative, comic, or simply factual.

but then, perhaps that view makes me racist.

perhaps in that case, posts should be left on the thread, with text of post replaced with something on the lines of 'post deleted by MODs due to inappropriate content'

that way the scale of any problem could be seen, and repeat offenders identified.

Yes, the Mod Team are always on active duty to monitor you 'orrible lot! 

I am happy with how things are regarding posts.  If we alter posts and leave them up, then that leaves the original poster identifiable, which could have all kinds of problems from retaliation.

I had a Dentist appointment this morning and on my way home, I called at the local Aldi. I thought I had got my dates wrong and it was Christmas  . All six checkouts were in operation and there were some empty spaces on the shelves, (but there were some toilet rolls), and plenty of notices about 'Customer Quotas'. I only went in for some chocolate bars!

Talking of the Dentists, whilst I was sat waiting, 4 out of the 8 chairs in the waiting room were removed. When I said something about making room for a party, I was told that they could only have four seats - any other patients would have to sit outside in their cars, (not sure what would happen to people who parked elsewhere and walked like I did).
